In January our family grew from a family of 3 to a family of 4 with the addition of little Kaylyn :)
We were extremely blessed to have Michael's mom here visiting when Kaylyn was born. She was able to stay home with James while we were at the hospital, which made the whole experience a lot easier for James and a lot less stressful for me not having to worry about what to do with him while we were gone.
Staying in the hospital was not nearly as nice the second time around. We had to stay 24 hours after Kaylyn was born because that was hospital policy, so we left right at the 24 hours mark :) We just wanted to get home and be with James and enjoy our new little one.
My parents also came out to visit and help out and, of course, see Kaylyn. It was great to have them here, and we we're glad they could come.
We went to the park while they were here, so James could run around and play.
And Kaylyn just slept all snuggled in the car seat.
We also went to the SF Zoo. They have an awesome kids area with a petting zoo.
Since my parents were out here, we went ahead and blessed Kaylyn on January 23rd, so my dad could be a part of the circle. Kaylyn was only a week and a half old, so her dress was kind of big on her, but that's ok - she was still really cute! :)
...and growing some cute chubby cheeks and extra chins :)
He even gives her kisses :)
And reads her his favorite books :) So cute!
