We just got our internet back today, and I thought I would celebrate by posting.
I have to admit, I loved the Dark Knight. I think it is one of the best movies ever made--they did a superb job contrasting the three main characters all set against a darker than ever set. I saw it at least five times in the theater (once in an IMAX) and I have to admit... it isn't as good on a 13'' TV.
I haven't posted in a while. Ok, never. "Post" probably doesn't count. KPMG flew me out to their San Francisco office to interview for a position in their forensic consulting department--the interviews went well (except for one guy who kept berating me about teamwork...) and I heard back from them before they said they would call--I got an offer. We decided to accept the offer (which was for their Silicon Valley office instead) and we will start with them next September (unless they get busy over the summer and then it could be June or July.) Either way, it was a better offer than we were expecting and the people there are amazing.
Last night was fun: at our most recent employee meeting, we discussed the potential use of our funds for employee incentives, and one girl mentioned that we should do the sub for santa/angel tree program. Everyone agreed and we sponsored a family of two this year: one boy about 18 mos. old and a girl who is about a month. It wasWAY fun shopping with everyone at Wal-Mart at midnight looking for clothes and toys for little kids. My family was very poor when we were younger and my sister and I were recipients of the angel tree program--I guess that's why I love the program so much.
Other than that, school is finished for the semester--just have to finish finals next week and then Christmas Vacation is here!

BABY!!!
Today was my first doctor's appointment, and they did an ultrasound. We got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat! It was so amazing! I was surprised we could see so much already in the the ultrasound. I expected the baby to just look like a little blob, but we could see the head, body, legs, arms and even little fingers and toes! The nurse said that the heartbeat was normal and that the baby seemed to being doing fine so far, so that's good news. It was also nice to have more confirmation that there really is a baby in there :)We are so excited! We've still got a ways to go, but we can't wait for our little baby to get here! :)

Update on our lives
Well...I'm supposed to be writing a big paper due next week, so naturally I want to do anything but write my paper :) so I decided to finally write a new blog post because I haven't written one in forever.
Our lives haven't been too terribly exciting lately, but I guess I'll just update on some stuff from the past few weeks. My birthday was October 23rd and we celebrated it that weekend. Michael surprised me with a night at a nice hotel. We didn't go very far - the hotel was in Provo :) but it was nice to just get away, even just for the night. Then the next day we went to the BYU football game. It was a lot of fun and a good game to watch. I was glad we got to go to at least one of the games this year because it's our last year here. That night after the game we went to a halloween party that a friend of Michael's was having. I wore some wings and antenna and went as a bug and Michael wore his pest control uniform :) The actual night of halloween wasn't very exciting. We both had to work. But I did dress up though - I was a pirate. And according to Michael I was a very cute priate :)
Thursday and Friday of this past week, Michael went to San Francisco for an interview with KPMG. He had a really great time and is really hoping for a job offer. I'll let him write his own post and tell you all about it though :)
Now for the pregnancy update....I am now almost 12 weeks pregnant so I'm almost done with my first trimester! For a few weeks I had really bad morning sickness - I would throw up and I was nauseous most of the day. But then about a week and a half ago, on the recommendation of my mom and a few others, I started taking Unisom every night and it is like a miracle drug! I haven't been nauseous at all since I started taking it. Also, this coming Tuesday is my first doctor's appointment. We'll get to hear the baby's heartbeat and I think they'll do an ultrsound, too, so we're excited for that :)
Well...that's pretty much all that's going on. Hopefully it won't be as long before I get a chance to post again.

Big news!
We are very happy to announce that I'm pregnant! :) We just found out this week, so it's kinda early, but we're soooo excited!! The baby should come around the end of May, so it's a little close to graduation, but that's ok :)

Brian Regan
Oh yeah...Last night Michael and I went to see Brian Regan! It was really good! He is so funny - he is my favorite comedian. He did do lots of old stuff, but there were new bits too. The guy who opened for him was really funny too. His name is Kermet Apio. He has a website where you can watch some of this stuff.
Georgia Trip
Well, we got back to Provo last week. The trip to Georgia was great! It was so nice to see my family and spend time with them. We were there for a week and a half, but that just wasn't long enough. :) We were supposed to get back to Provo last Thursday, but we didn't get back til Friday because we stayed overnight in Denver. When we got to our gate in Denver to switch planes, something was wrong and the flight was delayed and they were asking for a few volunteers to be bumped to a flight at the same time the next day. They offered to put the volunteers up in a hotel for the night, give them vouchers for a free meal, and a free round-trip ticket to anywhere in the U.S. Michael and I didn't have to be at work until Friday night so we were like "Heck yes free tickets for Georgia at Christmas!" so we volunteered to stay there overnight :) We were expecting our hotel to be a cheap, crappy one because the airport was paying for it, but it was actually really nice! The hotel had a nice restaurant and our room had a HUGE king size bed. The only bad part was that we didn't get our checked luggage - it stayed in the plane, so we were without toiletries because of the whole liquids on the airplane crap and I didn't have a change of clothes, but it was still cool.
So yeah anyways....back to the Georgia trip. We did some touristy things while we were in Georgia, but we mostly just hung out with the fam. One day we went around and looked at houses for fun, and one day we went around Athens to look for possible future Sub Zero locations near UGA. Last Monday we went to the Georgia Aquarium. It was so cool and fun. The Georgia Aquarium is the biggest aquarium in the world! We also went there last summer, but it is so big and there are so many things to see, it doesn't get old.
Some colorful fish
Nico, the beluga whale. He does tricks and stuff like blowing bubble rings :)

There are small pools with animals like little rays and sharks that you can touch. Last year I had my purse on my shoulder when I bent down to touch a ray, and my purse slid down my arm and into the water! So this year I put everything in my pockets and didn't bring a purse :)
While we were in Georgia we also went to Stone Mountain to see the laser show. The laser show is one thing that's pretty much the same thing every year, but you have to go every year anyway because it's tradition :) This year the show was a little different though because it was the 25th anniversary of the show. I still thought it was good. Michael really liked it - it was the first time he had ever seen it. He liked that it was so patriotic and filled with southern pride. It made him miss being in the South.
So, it was a very good trip, and we were sad to leave. We can't wait to go back at Christmas!

Georgia!!
Well, we're in Georgia! It's really hot and humid, and it's been rainy since we got here, but it's been great to be here and see my family :)
Yesterday we went around and looked at a few houses around here just for fun and to see what kind of prices there are out there now. Not that we could really get one any time soon since we're not planning to move for another year. We wish we could get a house now though because now is the time to buy one. Oh well, we'll see what happens next year. Hopefully we can still get a good deal.
I got my surprise today!! Today Michael sent my friend Darcy and me to a spa few a few hours of fun and relaxation. We got facials, full-body massages, and manicures. It was amazing, and I loved it! I have such a wonderful husband :)

New and Improved Blog
I just spent like an hour changing and rearranging our blog, and I think it's so cute! :) hehe I finally figured out how to get different backgrounds besides the few that you have to choose from on blogger.com. So of course I had to change everything else to make it match the cute new background. :)
Well, not much has happened since our last post. But we are leaving on Tuesday to go to Georgia for a week and a half to visit my family, and we are soooo exited! It will be a much needed and long overdue break that we have been looking forward to all summer. And Michael says he has a big surprise for me when we're in Georgia, but he won't tell me what it is, and he will only give me very vague hints, so I still have no clue what it is. And that only heightens the anticipation, so next week just can't come fast enough.

Batman!

So Michael and I went to see The Dark Knight on opening night at midnight, and it was soooo awesome! Michael hasn't been able to stop talking about it for the past two days, and we already have tickets to go see it again tonight :) It is definitely a "must see" and is probably one of the best movies of all time.....so go see it! :)

Rock Climbing
Man, I haven't written anything in a while. I guess blogging has become like writing in my journal: I write a couple times and then forget about it and then it will be months before I write again. Hopefully I'll get better :)
Well, we finally got all moved into our new apartment in Wymount. We're still living in a pile of boxes though, but we're gonna try to get all unpacked by the end of the week. I like it so much better than our old apartment. One of the main reasons for moving was that our old apartment was quite depressing since it was a basement apartment and there were no windows , and therefore no light...and I didn't like that. But our new apartment is a little bigger and has plenty of windows, so yay! :)
So onto the subject of this post....Yesterday Michael and I went rock climbing at the Quarry!

It was a lot of fun! It was only my first time ever to go rock climbing, and I actually did pretty well. Michael wants to get into hiking and rock climbing and is currently planning a hike up Mt. Timpanogas.

School is almost over!!!
Whoo hoo! Today is the last day of class, and I am soooo excited! I have officially finished all of my classwork and assignments, and all that's left are finals. Yay! After next week I will have only one semester left (well...plus one class in the spring) and then I will graduate in December! I would say I wish it was December now, but I'm so glad it's warm outside and it's Spring and the snow has finally stopped that I would not want to wish that on anyone. :)
Hope everyone has a good day!

Hello everyone!
I finally got around to making a blog for Michael and me. Now we'll have to see if I'll actually get around posting stuff on it :) Well I can't really write much now because I'm made this blog while I was supposed to be reading a book and writing a paper on it, so I should probably get to that.........oh man I cannot wait til I graduate and school is over forever! :)
