Baby Update

Well I am now 37 weeks so the end is near! :)


Today we went to my doctor's appointment and the doctor said I am already 4 cm dilated! So the doctor said that means the baby could come pretty much any day now - tomorrow, a few days, or in two and a half weeks when I'm due. They went ahead and scheduled to have me induced on the 18th - that is if I even make it to then without going into labor on my own first. So we're really excited!! And a little nervous because we expected to have another 2 1/2 weeks or probably more since it's my first pregnancy and it's common to be overdue. But oh well - I'd rather the baby come a little early than late :)

Also on the baby update.....While Michael's mom was here a few weeks ago, she and Michael's sister Margaret threw me a surprise baby shower! It was great, and I was completely surprised. Apparently there were a lot of lies, deception, and secret meetings on Michael's part to help get everything planned and set up and keep it a secret from me :) The shower was a dessert party at Olive Garden. The dessert was sooo good and the shower was lots of fun! I got lots of cute little baby clothes, diapers, wipes and all kinds of baby stuff. Thank you so much to Susan and Margaret for the baby shower! I loved it!!


Oh, and we have been putting our graduation present to good use! It's been a little over a week and we are already on season 5! hehe :)
